Manicures: We are delighted to have our volunteers every Tuesday afternoon to do manicures for our ladies and a few men. |

Birthday Parties include cake, ice cream, people from the community, entertainment (singing, music), etc. |

Tea Parties are for ladies only. We wear fun hats, reminisce, have tea, cakes, snacks and goodies. |
| |
Activity Room: always open and has TV, movies, puzzles, games, computer, arts & crafts, residents can just socialize etc. |
| |
Shopping: We take the residents out in our mini-bus to shop. If they prefer, we can take a list of items they want and we'll get them for them. |
| |
Popcorn Cinema: We'll rent one of the latest movies and provide popcorn. |
| |
Resident's Council: All residents get their say at Pine Ridge. This is an open opportunity to make suggestions and be heard. We also take this time to introduce new staff and residents. |

Spiritual Needs: The Pagosa Ministerial Alliance provides weekly church services in our facility. Denominations rotate Sundays. Volunteers from the local churches provide rosary, communion and Bible Study for our residents. |

Volunteers Make Life Better!
 The Pagosa Springs community has helped provide volunteers who spend many precious hours with our residents. We have various groups in town volunteer for birthday parties and social functions year round.
A 2nd Grade class has agreed to continue the "Adopt a Grandparent" program that has been a wonderful success for both the children and the residents. Many of the children live far away from grandparents and this provides an opportunity for the two generations to interact.
Volunteers take care of our residents' weekly manicures. Another valuable volunteer chooses to spend Saturdays entertaining our Bingo players.
